The purpose of today’s run was to recover from the soreness I still feel after Sunday’s half marathon. My knees still hurt a bit, as do my quads and calves. I was able to maintain a 10:30 pace throughout the run.
Welcome to my running blog. I had been running on and off since 2003, completing 13 half marathons and 6 marathons in an 8 year period. Then, in fall 2011, I just...stopped running. Since then my weight has by increased by 35 pounds, and my waist circumference has gone up by 6 inches. In early 2017, I decided to start running again, and revive this blog.
