ran 11 miles on sat aug 2. It was brutal. Did 3 miles on mon aug 4 in 27:17. Then did not run again until Sunday aug 10 when i did 6 miles...again i bonked. Something isn't right...don't know if it is mental or physical. At this point, i'm looking at a 2:30 half marathon. I'm bummed.

Hey TC,
You are almost there! Are you getting enough pre-race fuel? I know you consider yourself a Clydesdale but that doesn't mean your body is going to pull effectively from your storage tanks :o)
For your long runs, are you taking something--a gu or the like--30 minutes into the run? You want to be ahead of the bonk.
Also in this weather--I hope you are tripling up on your water/fluid intake.
