Nice 12 mile run in 2:03

It was chilly and windy at the start. MS and RC were here and we set out at about 6:45. At first we were running together but by the 3rd mile I was driving the pace all the way to the turn around. We got there together at about 1:03. From there for the next 2 miles or so, MS was driving an agressive pace, until RC took over at mile 8, and he didn't let up until he finished in 2:01. I finished in 2:03, and MS finished in 2:05.

The good thing about this run is that we all did negative splits with a faster return.

Now, according to run predictions, my 2:03 extrapolates to a marathon time of 4:41:00, which would be better than last
year.

20 miles in 3:39:20

This was a really good run for me. I actually broke the 11:00 pace barrier! The upcoming week calls for some tempo runs and some hiil repeats. Then next week's long run will be a 12 miler.

RUN ANALYSIS:
20 miles in 3:39:20, 10:58 avg pace per mile, 5.47 mph avg speed; out and back splits (1:49:59 out and 1:49:21 back); 5 mile splits (55:23, 54:36, 53:42, 55:39). I lost some gas during the last 5 miles but still was able to make it under 3:40:00.

13 miles in 2:16:05

The intent was to run a fast 12, but we decided to run 13 instead. It was nice and cool at the start, with temp of about 55 degrees. M set the pace...normally i advise her when to slow down, but this time, i decided to shut up...afterall, she did beat me at the last half marathon. We were on a steady 10min pace on the way out, but on the way back, we played with various paces at interval. Out in 65:05, back in 71:00
